OBITUARY
Alicia Hope Jackson
June 4, 1951 – February 21, 2021
Alicia Hope Jackson, age 69, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Alicia was born June 4, 1951 to the late Leona Keith Lorenson and John Henry Lorenson.
Alicia was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She created a home that welcomed any and all; a place where hours drifted by sharing heartfelt discussions and her homemade sweet confections. Her holiday decorations were legendary, but her house at Christmas was truly transportive and a sight to be seen. Alicia put her all into everything she did whether it was at the family business, her duties as a Red Hatter or raising their six children. She was happiest while rocking her grandchildren to sleep or while finding the perfect gift for someone. For a person who was notoriously late she left much too early.
Although she answered to many names; Lish, Gigi, Mammaw, Lala, there will only ever be one of Alicia. She was love personified and will be desperately missed by all that knew her.
Alicia is survived by her six children; Roger Morlan (Angie); Niki Bassett (Raun); Kim Sternberg (Barak); Karri Mulkey; Kristy Goodman; and Kelly Swanson; her nine grandchildren; Hailey Bailey, Amber Goodman, Brittany Brannon, Tony Adams Jr., Cody Bassett, Kaya Bassett, Reid Morlan, Ava Morlan and her three great grandchild; Addelyn, "Moe" and Dalton Bailey. As well as her three siblings; Mary Simmons, Becky Parker and John Lorenson.
Alicia was preceded in death by the love her life Earl Jackson Jr.; father John Henry Lorenson and mother Leona Keith Lorenson.
A celebration of life for Alicia will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.

Of all the amazing people I've met in my life, Mrs. Jackson will always remain one of my dearest friends. What a beautiful soul! She walked this Earth as a true witness of faith and compassion.
I am honored to have been chosen to celebrate Life and Love and served as the Jackson's personal jeweler for many years. Our store is in a deep mourning as we reflect on our beloved guest.
We will always cherish the memories, milestones, and celebrations shared with this beautiful soul.
I will forever hold her memory dear to my heart and promise to pray for the family often.
