Alva M. Caldwell, 94, of Kennesaw, died Thursday, October 9, 2014. Funeral is Saturday, October 11, 4pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Rev. Wallace Wheeles officiating. Entombment will follow at Pineridge Memorial Park.
Born in Mason City, WVA Mrs. Caldwell was a longtime resident of Kennesaw and worked retail for many years along with providing a loving home for her family. She retired from Sears after seventeen years. Alva was a member of Kennesaw United Methodist Church and will be remember by all her family and friends as loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 71 years – C. Willis Caldwell, son – Chancey and wife Linda Caldwell of Carrollton, TX; daughters – Rebecca and husband Steve Bieranowski of Sierra Vista, AZ and Susan and husband Drew Arnold of Acworth. There are also 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren which survived.
The family is receiving friends on Saturday at the funeral home beginning at 2pm.
