She was born in Austell, Georgia. Amanda was unbelievably creative, she could sketch, draw, and she
painted rocks and left them around places that she visited. She was an amazing cook and
baker; she liked combining multiple recipes and to make new mouthwatering dishes.
Amanda loved the outdoors and went camping and walking around different parks as often as she could.
She had a green thumb and would bring beautiful plants back to life. Amanda had a heart of gold and
touched many lives around her in her short time. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and
friend. Amanda will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
Amanda is survived by her loving husband of 8 years; Anthony Whiting and parents Yavette and Isidro
Gallegos and Eddy McCampbell, children Kaleb and Nicole, siblings; Christopher, Michael, John, Brian
and Katalyna and dear friends Sarah and JQ.
A visitation for Amanda will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at
Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152, followed by a
memorial service at 1:00 PM.
