Anita Bell Schweikhardt of Marietta, Georgia, passed into eternity January 31, 2025. Born June 29, 1935, she was the wife of deceased husband John A. Schweikhardt of Marietta, and the daughter of Troy & Lucille Bell of Memphis, Tennessee. She was the mother of Patrick D. Phillips (Elaine), & Jason B. Phillips (Jerryi). Grandmother of Jesse G. Phillips (Rayna), Justin D. Phillips, Dalton C. Phillips & Abby M. Phillips. Great-grandmother of Stella-Rose M. Phillips & Zane A. Phillips. She is survived by her brother Lamar Bell (Pat) and family.
She was a member of Marietta Christian Women’s Connection, “All Dolled Up” Red-Hat Society, a hospice volunteer for 16 years and a human resources manager/consultant for over 20 years.
Anita attended Mt. Paran Church of God-North for years. She enjoyed reading and meeting her friends at the Varsity for lunch.
She came to Georgia to work as an airline stewardess in 1959.
A visitation will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM.
