Ann P. Williams, age 95, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Married for 57 years, Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; her family was everything to her. Ann adored traveling and in her life she visited places such as Hawaii, Alaska, New York, Colorado, Nevada, and California. She even traveled as far as Egypt, Greece, Israel, Finland, Holland, Jamaica, the Bahamas, and several countries in South America. Her travels brought her countless unique experiences such as a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, whale watching, traveling via dogsled and snowmobile, riding a camel, and countless more. beyond her extensive travels, Ann was an outstanding southern cook who found enjoyment in a game of bridge, and was dedicated to her faith as a Christian. Above all else, she deeply loved her grandchildren and considered her children her greatest achievement.
Ann is survived by her daughters Cathy Owens (Royce), Jenny Williams; sons James Troy Williams Jr. (Valerie) and Thomas Douglas Williams (Sue); sister Betty Payne Crotty. grandchildren, Owen, Luke, Bentley, Bramer, Garrett, Leann, Evan, Shelby, Lily: 12 great grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband James Troy Williams Sr.; parents David Walter Payne and Jennie White Payne; granddaughter Maggie Ann Sealy Williams.
A visitation for Ann will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM, . Burial will be at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
