Annie Locke Stamps, 93, of Marietta, passed away Friday, February 4, 2011. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw beginning at 3pm led by Evans Newell.
Mrs. Stamps was preceded in death by her Husband of 53 years, James Cecil Stamps in 1990 and also a Sister, Zeta Azale Keller in 1990. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother and had worked at Lockheed in Marietta as a Key Punch Operator.
Mrs. Stamps is survived her Son – Don Drue Stamps and his Wife – Patricia of Kennesaw; Granddaughter – Donna Ann Stamps of South Pasadena, CA; Grandson – Brent D. Stamps and his Wife – Myra of Atlanta; Great-Granddaughters – Her namesake Annie Locke Scherer, Allie Stamps and Emma Stamps; Sisters – Doris Johnson of Tullahoma, TN and Hariette Horne of Sandy Springs. Other survivors include Niece and Nephew – Judy Johnson of Richmond Hill, GA and Tom Keller of El Cajon, CA.
Per Mrs. Stamps wishes – Please no Black and in lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Annie Locke Stamps to the Camp Juliette Low Winter office at P.O. Box 5113, Marietta, GA 30061. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home after the service.
