Aplona Faria, age 88, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Aplona was born on March 24, 1934 in Guyana, South America. She lived in Edison NJ and Waterbury CT before moving to Georgia in 2005.
Aplona is predeceased by her husband, Leon Faria and daughter, Annette. She is survived by her partner, Chuck Cho and eight loving children: sons Leon (Regina), Ricardo (Vivienne), Michael (Carmelita), Andrew (Allyson), Brian (Dolly); daughters Mona, Olive and Sharon (Sheik); 24 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
The visitation for Aplona Faria will take place at nine o’ clock in the morning on
Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 87 Lacy Street, Marietta Georgia followed by the funeral service to honor her life at ten o’ clock in the morning. Burial service follows immediately at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Parkway NW, Kennesaw, Georgia.
