I only met April once, but had a connection to her thru my daughter Sabrina, from the first time I talked to April on the phone I knew she was a special person. I miss her presence on this earth another one gone to soon! I Yearn for the day when ( sickness , old age and death will be no more) we won’t have to lose loved ones this way ever again. I was saddened to tears when I learned today of April's passing. I was excited to tell her of the good outcome of my cataract surgeries, knowing she'd share my joy. We didn't know each other well, but had that "connection" that happens when people "click." Whether it was our shared love of Jesus, experiences of being single Moms, of surviving cancer or the "Italian connection," I don't know, but we had it. My sincere sympathy to her Mother (who baked and shared the best cookies) and her sons, and to her co-workers and all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, Beautiful Lady.

We were close for a time in HS. But connected again on social media and she reminded me what was important. We became friends again and she made a better person. I will always love you April. And you are in my heart.

My life is better because I called you my friend. We have been through hell and back. Not once did you waiver. You are the strongest women I have ever met. You inspired me with your positive outlook and zest for life. Your relationship with your boys is what every Mother envied about you. You will forever have a piece of my heart. The world is better because you were in it!
