Mr. Howard was born in Red Bank, TN to the late Orvin Howard and Margaret Watkins Howard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna June Frizzell Howard. He is survived by his son, Arthur F. Howard of Kennesaw, his sister and brother-in-law Jean and Charlie Smith of Signal Mountain, TN, and in-laws Gene and Lillian Frizzell of La Porte, TX.
He was a Tool Planner for Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems, retiring after 36 years of service in 1999. He enjoyed golf, surfing the internet, and was a good handyman. He graduated from Kirkman High School in 1954.
Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Friday , February 19, 2009 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, TN. Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 p.m. Thursday at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, and 1 till 3 p.m. Friday at Chattanooga Funeral Home North in Hixson, TN.
