Benjamin Joseph Feehan III

Ben was born on November 27, 1950, in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of Lenore McAndrew and Benjamin J. Feehan Jr. When he was a child, his family moved to Corona, New York, and later to East Northport, on Long Island, where he spent much of his youth. He graduated from John Glenn High School in 1968 and went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force, where he rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant. It was while stationed at Hill Air Force Base that Ben met the love of his life, Betty Gourley, and the two were soon married, beginning a devoted partnership that would last the rest of his life.

Ben and Betty made their home together and raised three sons, David, Stephen, and Bryan Feehan, instilling in each of them the values of hard work, integrity, and love of family. Following his military service, Ben carried the same discipline and drive into civilian life, where his exceptional management and leadership abilities led him to a successful career in business. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ben was deeply committed to his community and gave generously of his time as an avid volunteer, always ready to lend a hand where it was needed.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Lenore McAndrew and Benjamin J. Feehan Jr.; his step-mother, Jeanine Feehan; and his beloved grandson, 1LT Tyler James Feehan.

He is survived by his wife of many years, Betty Feehan; his sons, David Feehan, Stephen Feehan (Shari), and Bryan Feehan (Sabrina); and his grandchildren, Kayla, Cheyann, Jayden, and Ollie Diehl. Ben's legacy of leadership, service, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew and loved him.
