Betty Davis Bennett of Acworth, Ga died on August 24, 2023. She and her late husband, Virgil Bennett, enjoyed 60 years of marriage. Betty was an outgoing person who enjoyed people. She was active in her church, East Cobb UMC, for many years prior to moving to assisted living in Acworth. She sang with The Entertainers in Marietta for over 15 years and was the President of that group for several of those years. Betty loved spending time with all her grandchildren, Shannon and Korley Brumbelow, Kathleen Bennett, Meredith and Travis Tilley and Mason and Meagan Holcomb, all of whom survive her. She was thrilled by the arrival of her great-grandchildren and called them her "little kids". While her son, Brent Bennett, preceded her in death, she is also survived by her daughter, Dea Wilkins and her daughter and son-in-law, Selena and Mike Holcomb. Services will be at Winkenhofer Funeral Home in Kennesaw on September 20 with visitation at 10:00 am and service at 11:00 am.
