Bonnie Mae Brown, 88, of Marietta, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013. Memorial service will be held Monday, 7pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. The family will receive friends beginning at 6pm and have requested that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Childrens Home, 1430 Lost Mountain Rd, Powder Springs, Ga 30127.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband James “Buddy” E. Brown, Sr. and was of the Methodist faith. She was formerly of the Villages in Lady Lake, FL and had lived in Marietta for the past ten years.
Those who survive Mrs. Brown are her daughter – Judy Rogers of Marietta, son – James E. Brown, Jr. of Memphis, TN, and sister – June Jackson of Summerfield, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren.
