Carol Phyllis Stone

January 8, 1940 - December 15, 2016

Mrs. Carol Phyllis Casey Stone age 76 of Acworth went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2016 with her loving family at her side. She surrendered her body to God and claimed her rest.

Born in Acworth Georgia to CD and Grace Casey. Mrs. Stone was a homemaker who loved her kids and grandkids. She would open her home to all and enjoyed cooking. Family and friends always gathered on the front porch where she love swinging and talking with everyone. She loved animals, especially her dog Bear Stone. She would camp and trout fish when she could. She was a member of Glade Road Baptist Church and Acworth Christian.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Doug Stone married on Dec 15, 1957, She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bill and Hugh Casey and son in law Tony Coker.

She is survived her loving dog Bear Stone, children Phyllis Coker, Kim McMillan, Jenny Bunn ( Craig), Clifford Stone (Stacey)

Grandchildren – Cara Blanchard (Marcus), Richard McGuirt (April), Joe Wright, Casey McGuirt, Dustin Chadwick (Jen), Katie Stone (Seth), Matthew McMillan and Tyler Stone.

Great Grand Children – Sebastian Correa, Bella DeLaughter and Harley Stone Blanchard.

Sisters – Betty Cain (Clay), Martha Rampley (Milton) and many other loving nieces, nephews and cousins

A memorial service will be held 1 pm Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Payne officiating. Inurement will be held at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth.
