Cecil Roosevelt Pearson

Cecil Roosevelt Pearson, age 86, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Monday June 17, 2019. Cecil was born February 7, 1933. Cecil was a devoted husband to his wife Peggy for 67 years, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed watching football and his favorite team was the Georgia Bulldogs. He also enjoyed traveling. Cecil worked as a controller for Wilson Meat Company and then moved on open and operate his own business, which was a candy vending machine business, Pearson Products. Then, Cecil worked at Publix. He was very involved in The Shriners and The March of Dimes. As a very caring and giving person, Cecil gave a percentage of his earnings to charity.

Cecil will be reunited with his mother Sarah Francis pearson; son-in-law, Ted Jenkins; brother, Roger; and sister, Sarah Pearson. He leaves to cherish in his memory, loving wife, Peggy Pearson; daughter, JoAnna Jenkins; sons, Cecil Pearson Jr. and his wife Pam, Jack Thomas Pearson and his wife Jeri; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews

The family of Cecil Pearson will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral service to honor his life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Cecil will then go to his final resting place at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
