Mr. Charles Edward Drake age 71 of Kennesaw died January 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday, Jan 12, 2015 at Kennesaw First Baptist Church with Dr. Perry Fowler officiating. Mr. Drake will lie in state from 11 am till 12 pm at the church. Interment with Full Military Honor at Georgia National Cemetery.
Charlie retired from the Army after 20 years of service here and overseas. He was a Psychologist with Mental Health Network traveling within the United States counseling Military personal and family members. He started a private practice in Kennesaw until his recent illness.
Charlie co-sponsored numerous children from the Atlanta Police Athletic League boxing program. He was a devoted husband, father, and loved being with his family. He liked working on cars and watching football in his spare time.
