Charles James McClure, age 77, passed away on August 14, 2020 in Marietta, Georgia. Charles was born on March 1, 1943 in Murphy, North Carolina to Julius and Sally McClure. Throughout his life, Charles enjoyed many things. He liked to dabble in yard work,enjoyed building things, loved attending church, and liked to do anything with computers. Charles was tech savvy and very smart. He earned multiple degrees and some of them were in computer technology and accounting.
On June 20, 1969 he married Florine McClure and they spent the next fifty-one loving years together before his passing. Charles had a great sense of humor and also enjoyed traveling the world.
Charles is preceded in death by his mother, Sally McClure. He is survived by his father, Julius McClure; wife, Florine McClure; step-son, Terry Foster; and brother, Bobby (Jenny) McClure.
A funeral service to honor Charles McClure will be held on August 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, with Pastor Perry Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, August 16, 2020 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
