

Clell A. Wills, 90, of Kennesaw, passed away Thursday January 10, 2013. Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 13, 3pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Rev. David Joyner officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth. Flowers are welcomed but for those who would like to donate in lieu of flowers may contribute in memory of Mr. Wills to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, Grand Central Station PO Box 4777 New York, NY 10163-4777. Mr. Wills was a member of Acworth First Baptist Church and worked for many years as an Iron Worker with R & D Construction. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union Local 387. Mr. Wills also owned his own Landscaping Business and loved gardening. He provided his local community with many of his homegrown vegetables. Clell served our country honorably during WWII in the Army and receive numerous medals, which included the Good Conduct Medal, American Service Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with two bronze Stars, Asiati Pacific Service Medal, and the WWII Victory Medal. Being an expert marksman served him well while deployed in Italy, Africa, and the Philippines. Those who survive Mr. Wills include his wife, Virginia White Wills of Kennesaw; sons, Tony and wife Shirley Wills of Acworth, Randy and wife Mary Wills of Kennesaw; daughters, Donna Wills Donahoo and husband Don of Acworth, Lisa Wills Smedley and husband Stephen of Kennesaw; brothers, Edward Wills of Kennesaw, Norman Wills of Dallas; sisters, Ruby Wills Kennedy of Kennesaw, Dorothy Wills of Marietta; grandchildren – John Wills, Andy Wills, Travis Wills, Robin Camp, Erin Smedley, Jenna Smedley; great grandchildren – Anna Claire Wills, Brayden Wills; step grandchildren – Sandra Rollins, Donna England, Kathy Fuller, James Camp, Bobby Donahoo, Nicki Donahoo, Kyle Guilfoil, and Austin Guilfoil. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 – 9 pm and from 9am until service time on Sunday at the Funeral Home.
