

Mr. Clyde Black, 76, of Cartersville, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 29, 1pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Pineridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.
Mr. Black was proud of his Cherokee Indian heritage and served our Nation honorable for 20 plus years in the United States Air Force. He also was a Flight Line Mechanic for Lockheed-Martin in Marietta. All who knew him as a loving Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, and Friend will fondly remember Clyde.
Those that survive Clyde are his children – Gary Black, Sharron and husband David Bohannon, Debbie and husband Billy Clackum, Karen Haygood, Denise Taylor, Terry and husband Jackie Shields, Michelle Black; Grandchildren – Misty, Patrick, Shana, Amy, Eric, Brandon, Kelly, Billy Jo, Joshua, Cody, Dekoda, CJ, Tara; Great-Grandchildren – Caydin, Bryson, James, Kylee, Peyton, Landon, Timothy, Devon, Taylor, Blake; Siblings – Carol Farist, Joe Black, Ralph Black.
The Family will receive Friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 28, from 5pm-9pm.
