

Corinne was known throughout her adult life by the nickname Debbie, which she acquired in High School. She spent her childhood and teenage years in rural Michigan. She dedicated her life to her family, service to others, and the Lord.
She began as a nurse’s aide as a teenager in a geriatric county hospital.
Debbie married her high school sweetheart after graduating from Romeo (MI) High School, a marriage lasting 70 years.
She traveled the world making a home for her Air Force career husband and her two sons which she cherished. All the while accumulating thousands of hours of Air Force family service helping young military families getting settled- and greeting wounded fighting men on medical evacuation flights returning from combat.
Debbie had a deeply held Christian faith and taught Bible classes for decades, leading others to deeper biblical knowledge.
An accomplished and dedicated genealogist, Debbie documented more than 35,000 individuals.
Debbie is predeceased in death by her infant daughter, Debra Ann.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence “Cy”, son Keith (Kathy), son Mark (Carol), grandsons; Jacob, Ryan (Lexi Neel), Billy Abshire (Heather), and Christopher Abshire (Jordan).
The visitation will be held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 7:30 pm until 9:00 pm, 2950 Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30152.
Funeral Services will be held at Living Hope Church on May 28, 2025, at 11:00 am, 3450 Stilesboro Rd NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152.
The internment will be at the family plot at Cadillac Memorial Gardens in Michigan.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Living Hope Youth Group or Calvary Children’s Home.
