Daniel, will always be remembered in my heart. He was a good friend and a great father to his kids. My memories of you will always live on.

I worked with Daniel at Alpha, he was a wonderful man. He will be missed.

We don't have any advice, other than prayer. We don't have any great insights, other than everybody feels painful loss differently. We do believe that God can provide both peace in our heart and hope for our future. But missing Daniel does hurt, there is no denying that. I can remember talking to him in the hallways and in the classroom at North Cobb. I remember a subtle smile every time I saw him. The memory that stands out is the time I got him to reveal a real laugh. We had been using "root words" to build science vocabulary and he asked me "if all pedagogues were pedantic". I saw the twinkle in his eye and the little smirk and I answered "no, but most of them are pedestrians". The laugh I got from Daniel was an appreciative one, indicating that he was thanking me for playing along with him. My life is richer for having known him....Thank you, Daniel.

Daniel and I were briefly in Target together in elementary school and then I had the pleasure of meeting him again in High School. I have nothing but great memories of him and his satirical attitude towards life. He used to show up in the middle of the night at "The Building" behind Joe Wigley's house where we rehearsed which ALWAYS made for an interesting night! I came across the articles he wrote for "The Chant" about all of us musicians back in high school... they made me laugh just as much now as they did then. ( even when he was making fun of us! ) I really regret not spending more time with him in the past years. Daniel, you will truly be missed.

Daniel has certainly left sweet and happy memories with all of us. When I taught him in 9th grade, I knew I would love him just because I loved Judy so much. He was easy to adore on his own merits, though. His birthday is my wedding anniversary date, so I always think of him on August 10th and will continue to for the rest of my life. For someone who often looked very serious, Daniel certainly had the world fooled! Thanks for making us laugh. Thanks, too, for your thoughtfulness, humility, and respect. You are loved and missed-

Always such a pleasure to be around. For sure my wittiest and most humorous cousin. What a lesser place the world shall be without God's clown. We love and miss you Daniel. Keep the angels on there toes and make Heaven an even more joyful place.

Daniel, no one in the world has ever made me laugh as hard as you did. You were the funniest guy in the room without ever trying to be. The king of deadpan is the king of stepbrothers. What especially cracked me up was the devastating amount of charm and intelligence that went into each setup and punchline. It also floored me how talented you were--at music, sports, writing, anything you were interested in pursuing. I wish we stayed in touch and I hope your daughter knows what a special guy you were. But you'll never seem dead to me. Anytime I laugh or strum a guitar, you live on again.

Daniel even though we did not see you much we wll always rember you.Sherri and Shannon rember the days you spent playing togetheron your vist to Texas. You will be missed.

Judy, our heart aches for you Pearl, Darren (his brother he loved SO MUCH), his lovely wife Danielle and his beautiful children. Daniel grew up with his family at Powers Ferry. I was blessed by being able to teach his Bible classes for many years when he was in middle and high school. He was always such a joy and a lot of fun to have in class. He always brought a great heart, a love for the Lord, a keen intellect and the BEST HUMOR possible that made the class so much more enjoyable for us all. With his great intellect and fresh perspective the whole class and myself learned so much from him. I could tell by his tremendous heart of love and compassion for others that he would be a VERY devoted and loving husband and father. Being an old drummer myself, he blessed me on many occasions with his early guitar jam sessions, which I then played the air drums along with him. I could tell this young man had real talent. He blessed this world with the talents God gave him. This world lost a good man who will be sorely missed by all. All of you are in the Powers Ferry family prayers. We are ALWAYS there for you as you have been there for so many others in their time of grief. Please, let us know how best we can serve all of you. We love you so very much.

Judy,
My heart is with you and your family. You have been very special to me during my time at North Cobb, and I am keeping you in my prayers during this difficult time. Please know that you are loved.

Such a tragedy, a life cut way too short. Dan was an awesome man and will be greatly missed. Our love and prayers go out to the family. R.I.P. Bro...

Judy,
My heart aches for you. What a privilege it has been to work with you for so many years and to experience the enjoyment of teaching the boys. Each of you will always hold a special place in my heart.
Please know that I'm praying for you.

Daniel you will be missed. You were a personal friend of my family for many many years! To young to leave us!!!

Daniel, u have touched so many lives in your short time on this Earth! I, personally, remember the time we spent in Atlanta,at your Mom in laws house, MANY years ago!! U & Danielle spent time talking with David, and making sure he felt like one of the family! I pray peace and comfort to all u have left behind! May u feel no more pain or sorrow, and one day be at the gates of Heaven to welcome your loved ones home!!

Dear Judy.
I knew Daniel through you and the smile of delight the simple mention of his name always brought to your face. Hold his face and his memory close to your heart. It will guide you through the pain and eventually to a place of peace and comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most dreadful time.

When Daniel was young, he loved to laugh, and would often tell rather offbeat jokes Darren, Judy, and those of us lucky enough to know him then. There was one joke whose build-up I can't remember, but the punch line involved corn... although why it involved corn, and what made it funny, managed to elude pretty much everyone else. It made no difference to young Daniel, though; he told the joke with childish glee, barely completing the punch line before breaking down in laughter. We'd look at one another for a second to see if anyone else got it, but it really didn't matter--once he started laughing, we laughed too, because his laugh was so infectious. Later, as he became a teenager, he honed that sense of humor, enjoying clever wordplay, appreciating and sharing in droll puns, and delighting in wry observations, often delivered in a deadpan style. His humor and his keen powers of observation were gifts passed on to him and encouraged by Judy, who raised her boys to think for themselves and to look at things in different ways. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to know both Darren and Daniel, and regret that the world will not have many more decades to enjoy all that Daniel had to share. I fervently hope the joys he brought to the lives of those close to him can help to balance the sorrow at his premature departure from this world. Heaven smiles and laughs along with Daniel now...

I am heartbroken by the loss of such a wonderful young man. I was most fortunate to be one of Daniel's high school teachers at North Cobb. He was funny with a wicked sense of humor - and he never missed a thing. He loved music ~ and people. We definitely enjoyed our time together. My deepest condolences to the family. You all will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of being Daniel's Honors American Lit. teacher many years ago, and I remember him as brilliant, creative, and, most of all, as a young man determined to "march to the beat of his own drum." Daniel, you are greatly missed.

Our deepest condolences to the family. We are so sorry for your loss.

I worked with Daniel at LXE. He was a great guy and I enjoyed working with him. He will be missed very much. I am so sorry for your loss.

Daniel, even though I didn't get to see you as much as I wanted when you were growing up you and Darren were always in my heart. I will always love you and miss you. Aunt Charlyn

"Let your mind start a journey thru a strange new world. Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before. Let your soul take you where you long to be...Close your eyes let your spirit start to soar, and you'll live as you've never lived before.”

You will be greatly missed by those that loved you, even though miles apart, you have always been a part of our lives.

Grandmother Walker, Uncle Douglas, Aunt Karen, and Aunt Charlyn.

I will always remember the delightful boy with so many great gifts. He made me laugh and sometimes he made me crazy. He was truly a brother to my daughter Alyx and I loved him as if he had been my own son. The picture I will carry in my mind always is the two of them singing together while he played his guitar. Mariana

My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. Daniel was well liked and will be missed. Denise Sanford- Human Resources Manager - LXE
