David Wyatt Neal passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Monday September 16th, 2019 in Lima, OH at the young age of 54. David is remembered for his overwhelming pride in his 3 sons, whom he rarely failed to bring up in conversation or by showing off pictures. He’s also remembered for his skills in engineering, talents in singing, playing guitar and his love and faith in our Lord. Gone too soon, David is survived by his 3 boys, David Andrew Neal (27), Austin Lanier Neal (24) and Alex Gregory Neal (23) and his grandchildren, Madalyn (9), Bradley(6), Jane(4) and Caroline Neal(10mo)
Born on February 6th, 1965 to two loving parents, Emma Hamrick Neal and Paul Junior Neal in Marietta, GA, David also has 4 siblings - his older sister, Vallorie, and 3 brothers, Greg, Scott and Mark Neal. David graduated from Marietta’s Joseph Wheeler High School in 1983 and went on to study mechanical engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University before leaving early to work in the family powder coating and machinery business. David would spend the rest of his life working in some facet of engineering, manufacturing, technology or business; he was well known for his talents in those fields, as well as his personable character that fostered meaningful relationships and led to many successful years doing something he enjoyed. David enjoyed singing, playing guitar, especially with his sons, being outdoors, discussing family heritage, God and ideas for the future.
David can now sit in heaven and hold, sing, play guitar and tell stories to his beloved granddaughter Emma, who passed in miscarriage in September, 2017.
David was admired by many, loved by more, and will be missed dearly by all.
