Dennis Walter Wilson

Dennis W. Wilson, known to family as Uncle Dennis or Uncle D, age 78, of Marietta Georgia passed away on Sunday November 10, 2024, at Wellstar Hospice Center in Marietta after a short illness. Dennis was born April 2, 1946, in Miami Florida and grew up in Miami Springs Florida. Dennis was a proud alumnus of Florida State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree. His Career included working as a manager with the Federal Reserve in Miami, working as an aeronautical warehouse supervisor in Boston, and working as a financial advisor for Merril Lynch in Miami. Dennis lived most of his adult life in Miami Springs, Florida. Later in life he moved to Savannah, Georgia for a few years and then relocated to Marietta in 2019 to be closer to more of his family.

Dennis was predeceased by his father Robert Francis Wilson, his mother, Jane Evans Wilson and his brother Michael David Wilson. He is survived by his sister Barbara Wilson Kight (Hayward) of Kennesaw GA, and his sister-in-law Lisbeth Wilson of Miami FL. He is also survived by the nephews and nieces who gave him the title of “Uncle Dennis or Uncle D”. The first generation of those and their spouses are Scott Wilson (Lyn) Miami, FL, Peter Harrison (Sarah) Chicago, IL, Amy Pisano (Andrew) New Rochelle, NY, Paul Bradley (Jennifer) Dallas, GA, Courtney Ferguson, (Paul), Marietta GA, and Ashley Newton (Jarrod), Kennesaw GA.
