Mr. DeWayne P. Alcorn, age 50, of Acworth, GA, passed away October 21, 2014. He was retired from the United States Air Force with 20 years of service and was a 2011 graduate of Southern Poly University where he was given the Distinguished Scholar Award.
Survived by his wife of 31 years, Barbara J. Alcorn; children, Nicholas Alcorn, Steven Alcorn, Timothy Alcorn; mother, Thelma Alcorn; brother, Brian Alcorn; granddaughter, Lillian Alcorn; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 25 at 1 pm in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Ledbetter officiating. Full military honors will follow the service.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 6 until 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
