Diane Denise Davis, 60, of Acworth, gained her wings on Monday, August 8, 2016. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 12, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw beginning at 11am. Interment will take place at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton on Monday, August 15, 1pm. A procession to the cemetery will leave Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home on Monday at 11:45am.
Diane had worked for Coats & Clark in Acworth for 20 years and provided a loving home for her family. She loved to cook, travel, especially to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Diane’s fight against cancer was courageous.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 37 years – Barry Davis of Acworth, daughters – Angela Davis-Rodriguez and her husband Jimmy of Kennesaw & Christina Davis- Hinton and her husband Joseph of Acworth, grandchildren – Savannah, Ethan, Hailey, Lacy, and Corey, Great Grandson – Mason, her mother – Syble G. Evans of Powder Springs, and Diane’s sister – Jeanette Cantrell.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-9pm and Thursday from 9am – 9pm at the funeral home.
