He was a native and lifelong resident of Cobb County and was retired from Georgia Tech as a Facility Manager at the Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering with over 36 of service.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janette Cabe; daughters, Lania and Cary Ogletree, Sonya and Mike Hudson, Wendy and David Russ; sister, Pam and Sam Betti; grandchildren, Kristian Ogletree, Kelsea Ogletree, Tyler Russ, Kaylee Russ, Brittany Armstrong, Lindsey Barkley; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 7 at 11 AM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Turner and Rev. David Chaffin officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 4 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
