I am so sorry and can not begin to imagine your grief.  I will always have memories of spending the night at your house and watching scary movies, making popcorn and waking up to her taking my glasses off so I wouldn't bend them in my sleep.  My favorite memories of her will always be of all of us hanging out at the pool during the summer.  She was always funny, giving and willing to listen and give advice.  Her lose is deeply felt and I pray that your family is healing and rejoicing in her memories!  Erin

I only met Doreen in person twice and spoke over the phone with her several times. These short encounters with Doreen were precious because of her warmth and kindness.  I know many people and have had hundreds of contacts with them but never before have I met someone like Doreen who made me feel I knew her for years.  I am saddened that I will never hear her voice again but I am devastated for Kelley, Kevin and her children's sake. My condolences go out to Doreen's husband and family.

Doreen was my sister in law. I had the honor of meeting Doreen when she came here on vacation. It was like I knew her all of my life. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out. She will truly be missed. My heart goes out to all of her family.

Doreen was my sister and she really was the best sister anyone could ever ask for. When I was growing up, she threw all of my birthday parties and they were always the coolest. She was my other half, my partner in crime, my confident, my rock. We would talk on the phone everyday, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day and talk about anything and everything. She never passed judgement on me and would be my sounding board. I can't believe she is gone. You don't know how many times I have wanted to pick up the phone to call my sister to tell her about what is going on in life and then realize that I can't. If you needed something and she had it then it would be yours, that was the kind of person she was. 

Doreen had the patience of a saint. I know she is up in heaven with my mom and my granny goose. They are the New Age Golden Girls. She rode the Peace Train all the way to Heaven's Gate. It wasn't her time to go, she was much too young. I miss my sister so much and she will be missed by alot of people. She was my heart and I Loved her with all of it.
Not a day will go by that she is not thought of.

My very best friend growing up in Woodside, NY and my maid-of-honor at my wedding, I am deeply saddened by this loss. I am deeply sorry for you in your loss. I have memories of your mother, Doreen, as  our most supportive fan (E.T.Booth Basketball), our fearless leader during a cake fight for your birthday, and a patient, kind loving mother. I know our parents also share a common bond being from New York, and this was often a topic of conversation with them. I know it has been years, but I remember and cherish those times growing up. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Doreen has always been a loving, giving woman.  She was a surrogate mom to me growing up, and never failed to make me feel welcome at her home.  I have many fond memories of getting rides to and from Sparkles, basketball practice and Kroger.. The puzzled looks and laughs she'd give when she would see the crazy half-brained things Casey and I were up to.. She will be missed.
