Dottie was born in Brooklyn, NY, the Bay Ridge section, on April 8th, 1925. She married Joseph Esposito on January 15th, 1941. Dottie raised five children: Robert Esposito, Thomas Esposito, Glenn Esposito, Denise Jacinto and Laura Gleeson. She cherished all her grandchildren: Joseph Esposito, Jennifer Esposito-Caban, Danielle Esposito-Franzese, James Esposito, Paul Gleeson, Joseph Gleeson and William Gleeson. As well as her great grandchildren: Dylan Esposito and Gianna Franzese. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia (Acworth) in July 2003, where she resided with her daughter until her recent passing at age 89.
She was known for her straight forward response to any question, when asked; her uncanny insight into life’s problem solving; and her unshakable support and love for her family. She was a fighter who couldn’t be held down until she was ready. She fought the good fight the last 2 ½ years and she went out after the bell on her terms. Great job Dot!
