I never really got to know Doug, but I did meet him in 2013 when he was the recipient for Helping One Guy, (H.O.G). I know Judy from some years back. We see each other at events, and she is so delightful. I hated seeing this lovely couple going through such sad times. I know that their love of Jesus kept them strong through this journey. I picture Doug "Safe In The Arms of Jesus", and that gives me comfort. I hope it's the same with the Raine's family after they go through their grieving period. I am with you, Judy and family. You are in my prayers and have been since Doug first got sick. All my love,

We originally met Doug in roughly 2003 when Doug introduced himself and Mark Everswick, LM to our organization. He made a HUGE impact on us right away! Even though we had not met him before, we knew we were in the presence of an INCREDIBLE Human Being! His PASSION for his company and his caring about teaching us and helping us was very evident right away! Our relationship continued through many years to follow as he made several trips to our office and calls on the phone, always there to help us get better at our craft! We have always been very GRATEFUL for what Doug shared with us!

The world has lost a great "servant" man!

Our prayers go out to Doug's entire family!

I met Doug at my brother’s shop. He restored Doug’s Austin Healy and they became friends. We got to share his friendship and our lives are richer for knowing him. I am heartbroken for your loss and for our loss of a dear friend. God holds him now.

It was an honor to have known you and done business with you. The world is now a smaller place. Godspeed.

Doug was a very special person who touched my heart with his loving spirit. He was a positive influence in my life as well as many others. I loved the way he always put me at ease and made me feel special. He had a natural way of sharing himself with others and engaging in meaningful conversation. I will miss his infectious smile and gentle spirit. I am blessed to have known him and been able to call him my friend.
I believe the angels in heaven are rejoicing to be in his presence.

I did not know Douglas, but I wanted to share my condolences to the family. The best comfort I have found is from God's word the Bible. Notice the words at Acts chapter 24 verse 15. " And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. What a wonderful time that will be! Sincerely Janet.
