Doyle M Hobgood

Doyle M. Hobgood, age 83, of Acworth, Georgia passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11, 2023. In his younger days he loved fishing and traveling with his family. Doyle was close with his family, always wanting to go visit, he often Donated blood to the Red Cross. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Genevieve for 61 years, loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Doyle was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, he will be missed by all that knew him, "Know He Is At Peace Now ".

Doyle is survived by his wife, Genevieve Hobgood; sons, Barry "Scott" Hobgood (Anna), Dale Lee Hobgood (Donna); granddaughter, Jennifer Ruth Hobgood and grandson, Christopher Scott Hobgood;

sisters, Syble Moss, Faye Kelley and brother, Charles "Windle" Hobgood.

Doyle was preceded in death by Parents, William Elisha Hobgood and Athillie McMichen Hobgood; brother, Clinton Hobgood and sister, Willie Mae Cowart.

A visitation for Doyle will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11:00 am at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 3885 Lee St, Acworth, GA 30101, Acworth, GA. Burial will follow the service at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens, 4355 GA-92, Acworth, GA 30102.
