E. Glenn Hancock, age 80, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Glenn was born March 7, 1940 in Blue Ridge, Georgia. He was a loving and devoted husband of Rovine Hancock for 56 years who preceded him in death in 2019.
Glenn was a longtime and loyal member of Awtrey-Westwood Baptist Church in Acworth. Before retiring he worked as a Forklift specialist at Wheelers Building Supply. Whenever possible, Glenn loved to be outside working in his vegetable garden, he took great pride in what the Lord allowed him to grow.
He is survived by son Kevin Hancock (Beverly); and daughter Kim Foster (Wayne); grandchildren Alexis, Sami, Skye, Ben, Nick and Cody and great grandchild Asher.
A visitation for Glenn will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A funeral service will occur Sunday, January 10, 2021, 2:00 pm at Awtrey-Westwood Baptist Church, 5855 Awtrey Church NW, Acworth, GA 30101. Burial will follow at Pineridge Memorial Park, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
