Ed was one in a million. I,too, will miss his emails.  They brought out every possible emotion in me.  Through Ed's emails, I traveled to places I have never been to before and saw breathtaking sights that often left me gasping, especially if they were accompanied by beautiful music. We shared the love of animals and those emails often made me laugh until I cried.  Yes, God broke the mold on this one. See you later, Ed....

I met Ed 10 years ago and he was instantly a friend. He was kind, honest and had a great sense of humor. I will miss getting the e-mails from him with all the beautiful pictures. He will be greatly missed. My sympathy goes out to all of his family at this very sad time.

I knew Ed for several years, he was a good man, and a good co-worker.  Ed always was first in line to help and never shirk a duty.  I always loved his up-beat attitude when I came to work with him. He will be missed. Doug Weston

I met Ed when I moved to McGarity Ln in Nov. 92. Three days later we were hit by a tornado that wiped us out. Ed came over, introduced himself & the 4 of us spent the next few hours salvaging what we could from the wreckage & hauling it to his basement. I spent the next 8 years there in Kennesaw. In that time there weren't too many days that went by that we didn't chew the fat or swap favors. He called me his redneck yankee neighbor. He taught me quite a bit but the one thing I remember most was to slow down. He was my friend & I will miss very much. Brenda, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you & your family
