Rev. Edward Howard Middleton Jr., age 74, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Eddie was born April 15, 1947 in Albany, Georgia. Due to the pandemic, a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Kathy Strickland Middleton; his daughters Christina Middleton, and Jamie McDaniel (Mike); his sons Jonathan Middleton, and David Middleton; and his sister Sandra Middleton. Also surviving are his precious grandchildren, Cayden, Madelyn, and Amelia.
Eddie was a gifted singer and communicator who lived to share about the love of Jesus. He is a member of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and was a founding member of the Christian music group, NewSong. Eddie deeply loved his many roles in this life: husband, father, "Big Papa", brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
