Elizabeth was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Beatrice and Everett Millican. She graduated from Washington Seminary in 1947 and, in 1950, married her high school sweetheart, Ellyson "Butch" Robinson.
Over the years, she worked for Gulf Oil and several fabric stores. At the age of 73, she wanted to go back to work and, for 12 years, enjoyed part-time employment with Walgreens at their Canton Road location.
She loved her little poodle named Folly, was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed hand crafts, and took pleasure in making over 600 ornaments that decorate her children's Christmas trees.
Elizabeth was an excellent bridge player and enjoyed playing backgammon with her daughter. She completed at least 50 crosswords puzzles a month and enjoyed hearing, as well as telling a good joke. During the summer, she took great pleasure in growing tomatoes on her back deck and sharing them with her friends.
She is survived by son, Robie (Stacy) Robinson of Lilburn, Ga; daughter, Milli Robinson of Woodstock, Ga; grandchildren, Erica Robinson and Evan (Elaina) Robinson; nephews, Mark (Connie) Cowan and Buddy (Tracy) Cowan; niece, Susan (Mark) Papanicolaou, and sister-in-law, Pat Millican.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Ellyson "Butch" Robinson; sister, Emily Claire Ellington; brother, Everett Millican Jr., and nephew, Chip Millican.
The family is forever grateful for the compassion and care received from Nancy and Kellie with Kindred Hospice.
