Mrs. Emma L. Jordan, age 101, of Rome and Kennesaw passed away August 4, 2013. She was born in Marietta, GA in 1911. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Vannah Ingram; husband, James Monroe Jordan; siblings, Evelyn Chandler, Jack Ingram, Clarence Ingram and J.B. Ingram.
She is survived by children, Gary and Jerri Jordan of Kingston, Charles and Wynelle Jordan of Dallas, GA; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 7 at 4 PM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. David Huggins officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Acworth.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 5:30 and 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
