Eva Lee Morgan

Mrs. Eva Lee Morgan, age 91, of Kennesaw, GA., passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018. Eva Lee was born on November 17, 1926 in Bluefield, Virginia, a daughter to the late Samuel Wade Hylton and Anna Lou Carter Hylton.

Mrs. Morgan has lived in the Cobb County area for most of her adult life. In 1975, Eva Lee began working as a Pupil Personnel Clerk and later on a Bookkeeper for Dodgen Middle School before retiring in 2000 to spend more time with her family. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Eva Lee was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; she will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Along with her parents, Eva Lee is preceded in death by her husband, Ashton S. Morgan, and one brother, Samuel Wade Hylton Jr. of Grundy, Virginia.

She is survived by her only daughter, Bethany Ann Galvin, husband Steve, of Kennesaw, GA.; two grandchildren, Nicholas Drew Galvin, wife Kelsey, and Morgan Ashton Galvin; one sister, Betty Ann Graham of Princeton, West Virginia; sister-in-law, Anna Lee Hylton, nieces and nephews, Dr. James B. Graham, Angela Cooper, and Steve Hylton; and several other extended family members and friends also survive.

A graveside service to honor the life of Mrs. Eva Lee Morgan will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.

The family of Mrs. Morgan will be receiving friends from six o’clock in the afternoon until eight on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
