Father Abbott, you indeed fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith…and finally, there is laid up for you the crown of righteousness (2 Tim 4:7). You have been an example to us of genuine and dedicated service to God and strength and support to your family. And now, having crossed over from death to life and traded the destructible earthly tent for your eternal house in heaven, your gentle, kind and loving spirit lives on in our hearts forevermore. We thank God for the time and memories shared with you here on earth and look forward to the joyful reunion with you in Heaven.

Love,
Monique, Kayla and Josiah

Mrs. Mary Abbott:

I am sorry that Fr. Abbott is gone from us in the physical. I will miss him dearly. My memories of Fr Abbott span from childhood to adulthood. Those memories will never fade. When I think of him, I will always remember how joyful he was. His sermons were always served with that familiar, subtle smile. He was the first priest that I can honestly say made an impact in my life. I am forever thankful for his life and service.

He was a great friend to both my parents as you also were. My hope is that they now surround the Throne singing, “Holy is the Lamb.”

Dear Mary, I was shocked to learn of the passing of our beloved Fr. Abbott. Fr. Abbott was a Priest that served honorably in the Episcopal Church for many years. I knew him during my childhood. He was always a very kind and reverend man.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I pray that God will strengthen and comfort you during this difficult time.

May the good father Rest In Peace.

Uncle Richard you were a true inspiration in the words you shared and the life you lived. I cherish all the times I'd drop in on you at home in St. Croix unannounced and we would talk for times. Also the times we would talk so long that aunt Mary would insist for me to stay and share dinner with you both. As a true man of God, He richly blessed you with a Royal Crown Jewel for your Queen who walked with you unconditionally. What an inspiration you both are.
The Love of Christ constrains us.
Inspired by y'll Love..!
