He was a veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict, having served in the U. S. Air Force, and was an employee of Lockheed Martin for the last 35 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Judy Stephens Chambers.
Survived by his children, Michael and Heather Chambers, Christopher Hill; grandchildren, Jonathan Chambers, Alexander Chambers, Zoie Chambers, Ethan Hill, Cameron Jones.
Funeral services will be held Saturday Sept. 5 at 1 PM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Ledbetter officiating.
Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 6 until 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
