Mrs. Freida Ramona Gladney, age 92, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday March 14, 2018. She was born July 29, 1925 to the late Mattie Key Milam and Francis Ferrell Milam. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. Mrs. Gladney loved gardening and working in her flower beds and watching all the different kinds of birds in her yard. She never missed an episode of Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune. She was very proud to have lived to be the head of a family made up of five generations!
She is survived by daughters Marsha Gordon, Jennifer Bartley and husband Ronnie, Jacquelyn Williams and husband Steve, Susan Gladney Bailey, Stephanie Gladney, by son Richard Gladney, sister Jane Fuller and husband Harvey Fuller, fifteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty five years, John Richard Gladney Jr. , three sisters Eunice Shoemake, Leola Yarbrough, Hazel Harper, and four brothers; Arlin Milam, Otha Milam, Paul Milam and F. F. Milam. Her family will be forever grateful for their time together here and when they meet again.
