George Francis Kirk, age 77, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024. He was a loving and devoted husband for 56 years to his wife Amanda. George was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed traveling, rafting, computers and all electronics, and loved going to state parks and national parks. George also supported his Georgia teams.
George is survived by his wife, Amanda Compton Kirk; his sons Chuck Kirk (Pamie) and Anthony Kirk (Andrea); his brother Charles David Kirk (Pat); his grandchildren Bénja Slaughter (Jacob), Mason Kirk (Payton), Morgan Kirk Mullins (Tyler), Myles Kirk and his great grandchild Quentin Fox Kirk and two more great grandchildren on the way.
George was preceded in death by his parents Charles Marron Kirk and Lottie Lee Matthews Kirk; his brothers Wayne Boyd Kirk (Gayle) and Dennis Lamar Kirk (Isabelle).
A celebration of life gathering for George will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
