

At home, daily reminders of his family’s faith surrounded him. Rev. Logan played football for the University of Texas then went on the get his Masters Degree from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC.
Rev. Logan began his service as a Baptist minister at Bible Baptist Church in Elkhart, KS. He then went on to pastor at several more churches including Waterloo Baptist Temple in Waterloo, IA, Calvary Baptist Church in Keokuk, IA, and Bible Baptist in Spanish Fort, AL. He had worked for John Deere as a Technical Writer and Trainer, Ingalls Ship Builders in Gulfport, MS. and retired from Lockheed Martin after moving to Acworth, GA. He was interim pastor at Union Hill Community Church. He served as Director of North Atlanta Evening School of the Bible, was a Sunday School Teacher and helped with music at Harvest Baptist Church in Acworth.
He was preceded in death by a son Timothy LaLayne Logan; two brothers Leroy Logan; Charles Logan; and sister Leona Lambert.
On March 23, 2016, Rev. Logan, drew his last breath, completed his life on earth, and began his eternal life with Christ. He is survived by his wife Rachel Logan; daughter Miriam and Andrew Leuthold; two grandchildren Nathan and Abigail.
The Celebration Service and Viewing will be held Friday night on Friday, March 25th, starting at 5pm to 8 pm at Harvest Baptist Church in Acworth.
The Funeral Service will be celebrated by Rev. Dan Reed and Rev. Mark Carr at Harvest Baptist Church on Saturday, March 26th, at 2pm.
Reverend Logan's burial will be at Rolling Hills Memory Garden in Acworth, Georgia.
