Jerry was born in Yakima, Washington on Nov 28, 1939, graduated from Seattle Prep High School in 1957 and served his country, initially, in the US Air Force and then the US Marine Corp. Jerry served two tours of duty in Vietnam, meriting eventual promotion to Sergeant Major and retiring with 31 years of service in 1991.
It took a few attempts before Jerry realized, that married life was not his true calling. Jerry returned to his Catholic faith with a purpose and found a true home in the fellowship of the Secular Franciscan Order entering into this beloved fraternal order on March 2, 2019.
He is survived by 4 children and his brother James Osborn, appreciated by his Aunt and three cousins who were privileged to care for him and fight beside him during his final days.
For the two organizations that shaped this generous man, we give the Lord our thanks and praise, and we send Jerry home with a Semper Fi and Pax et Bonum.
