Gladys Bevill

Gladys Bevill, age 96, of Woodstock, GA, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020. She was born on May 4, 1923 in Roanoke, VA, to her late parents; William and Bertha Arrington Keen. Gladys worked in banking in the accounting department for many years and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at the Woodstock Congregation. She moved from Roanoke, VA to Woodstock, GA in 2003 and spent many wonderful years living with her devoted granddaughter, Monica Opara-Nadi and her family. Ms. Bevill was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, sons, Robert Settle, Felix Bevill; daughter, Saundrina Wannamaker; sisters, Zenobia Hinton and Ruth Keen.

Survivors include her loving son, Walder Spaulding Settle of Los Angeles, CA, 13 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild on the way.

Private visitation and services will take place on Saturday May, 2nd at 2:00 PM streaming live from Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home’s Facebook. A private entombment will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 restrictions.
