Glenn Horace Boyd, 75, of Mableton, GA, passed away February 3, 2016. Glenn was an avid hunter, enjoyed the TV show Gunsmoke, and loved animals. He was a member of the Church of God and was the owner/operator of Boyd's Barber Shop.
Preceded in death by his parents, Setes and Bessie Boyd, and sister, Florine Motes. Survivors include; sons, Timothy Boyd and Kenneth Boyd; daughter, Sonya Alfred; sister, Marie Leonard (Larry); and nine grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 7, 2016, 4 PM, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, with Pastor Marvin Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3PM-4PM, prior to the service, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Lung Association.
