She worked as an administration assistant for Toys-R-Us for many years before retiring. Gloria attended services at the Rock Baptist Church in Dallas, GA. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed caring for her plants, and her fur baby “Angel.”
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Harold Sanders and Catherine McCann Sanders; husband, Jack Lyons, Sr.; and children, Debi Lyons and Teri Lyons.
She is survived by her son, Jack Lyons, Jr.; grandchildren, Misti (Brad) Decker, Heather (Adam) Tucker, Kimberly Johnston, Brianna Wade, Haley (Justin) Fortier, Chloe Lyons, and Dagan Lyons; and 16 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Visitation with the family will begin at 2:00 PM and continue until service time.
