Gregory Dougherty

Gregory Dougherty, born April 10, 1971, passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 54. Gregory was a beloved, devoted, and hardworking man whose absence will be profoundly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was the cherished son of Thomas Dougherty and the late Sylvia Macaluso Dougherty, and the loving stepson of Ron Dougherty. Gregory shared 12 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Jennifer Kellner Dougherty, and was a devoted father to Anna Dougherty, Lindsey Dougherty, Ashlyn Gresham, and Will Gresham. He was a caring brother to Shelly Friend (Steven) and a proud uncle to Luke Friend.

Family was the cornerstone of Gregory’s life. He was known for his unwavering love, loyalty, and dedication as a husband, father, son and uncle.

Beyond his deep love for his family, Greg enjoyed traveling, especially to somewhere warm with a beach. He enjoyed collecting and shooting guns, tending to his yard, and nurturing his plants. He had a passion for cars—especially fast ones— found great joy in hanging out with his hunting buddies and was a master at card games.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those who wish to honor Gregory’s memory are invited to remember him as the devoted, kind-hearted, and spirited man he was.
