Ray was born to the late Robert William Hill Sr. and the late Lois May Clack on September 27th, 1943 in Eatonton, Georgia.
On May 14th, 1966, Ray had the honor of marrying the love of his life, Barbara Burnette. They lived a life full of love and blessings for 55 amazing years.
Ray was an avid golfer, insurance agent and friend to many. He enjoyed traveling, watching old movies and studying History (especially World War I and World War II). He was an Army veteran and loved Donald Trump!
Ray was a deacon of their church and a godly man. He spent a lifetime sharing the love of Christ with all that came near to him. Ray was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was Barbara’s best friend and loved her more than life. Ray was one of a kind and in the words of Barbara, “they just don’t make them like that anymore.” His memory will be forever cherished by family and friends.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Robert “Billy” Hill Sr.; brothers, Pete Hill and Ricky Hill; sister, Sherry Hill; mother and father in-law, Ray and Jewel Burnette.
Mr. Ray Hill is survived by his wife, Barbara Hill; daughters, Julie Feltault (Chris) and Janet Williams (Chuck Antignane); Grandchildren, Morgan Rayanne Williams and Connor Christopher Feltault; sister, Coni Hill Redfern; sister-in-law, Betty Burnette Jones (Sam) and many nieces and nephews.
The Hill family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on January 25th, 2022 at 4:00 PM in the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Wayne Meadows officiating.
