

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Harold William Sill Jr., a beloved husband, father, and devoted servant of God on May 25, 2024, at the age of 91. Hal was born on June 3, 1932, in Washington, DC, son of Harold William Sill Senior and Martha Magdalene Baur. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Major in Physics and Mathematics. Married to Ann Marlene Schwalbach (deceased) for 59 1/2 years with much dedication and love. A man with profound sense of duty and patriotism joined the United States of America Navy on August 3rd, 1954 until July 31st, 1957, servicing as an Engineering Officer. Upon retiring from the Navy Hal transitioned to civilian life working for a major Computer Company with the same fervor and dedication. A very devoted Catholic was always an active member of his Church where he served in many roles. His deep faith was a cornerstone of his life. In addition to his faith, Hal was very involved in reading, woodworking, bowling, golfing and playing tennis. He was also a member of a veterans organization when he resided in Cypress Lakes. Hal is survived by his three children Hal (Estelle), Susan Konen (Bob), Matthew (Ivette), seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren whom he loved immensely. A celebration of Hal’s life will be held on June 18th, 2024 at 12:00 pm, at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home located at 2950 North Cobb Parkway in Kennesaw. Rest in peace Pop Pop.
