Mrs. Edwards was born to John and Maggie Sewell in Roscoe, Georgia on October 31, 1914.
She met and married the love of her life, Robert T. Edwards and had one son, Robert "Al" Edwards.
Mrs. Edwards was an active and healthy individual most of her life. While her son was young, Mrs. Edwards would place Al in her bike's basket and ride over to play tennis at the local court. She also enjoyed walking and riding her recumbant bike.
Mrs. Edwards decided to return to work as the Office Manager for the Architectural Firm, Vaught, Spiker, and Howell. She retired after working there for 35 years and remained as a consultant until the age of 75.
She was an adventurous and vivacious woman. She was one of the first people to ever ski of Lake Altoona.
Mrs. Edwards is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Robert T. Edwards and parents, John and Maggie Sewell. She is survived by her son, Robert "Al" Edwards of Powder Springs and many nieces and nephews.
She will be cremated under the care of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Memorial Services to be announced at a later date.
