Helena Claire Carvalho

Helena Claire Carvalho (Frazer) 92,OF Kennesaw, GA (Formerly from Swansea and then Somerset) entered into rest on April 26, 2020, as a result of COVID-19. Known as Claire, she was involved in special needs transportation for the Town on Somerset, first as a driver for former Somerset Taxi, then as the owner of the former Carvalho Transportation, ending her career as a driver for Fisher Transportation.

She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel, son Thomas Carvalho, daughter Donna Wood, Twin girls that were unnamed, brother Raymond Frazer, sisters Shirley (Pat) Venancio, Alice Vieira, Phyllis Deslisle and Corliss Fazzena, as well as grandson Jon Carvalho and son-in-law Kevin Sullivan.

She is survived by a son Kenneth Carvalho (wife Roberta) of Acworth, GA, daughter Sheryl Sullivan of Somerset, daughter-in law Pat Carvalho of Cartersville, GA and son-in-law Kenneth Wood of Swansea. She is also survived by bother Cyprien Frazer ( wife Evelyn) of Fall River, and Geraldine Harris (husband James) of Michigan, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Catholic from birth, she was most recently associated with Transfiguration Catholic Church, Kennesaw, GA and formerly St Patricks' Parrish of Somerset.

Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, private ceremony will be held with a mass and Celebration of Life to take place at a future date. arrangements under the coordinated direction of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw GA and Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, Bourne, MA.
