Henry Stewart Paul, 29, died from surgery complications at Emory University Hospital on September 11, 2021. He was born March 23, 1992, at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia, the son of Rebecca A. and Thomas D. Paul, and baptized in the Lutheran faith as a child of our Lord and Savior.
Henry studied at Chattahoochee Technical College in the fields of computer science and horticulture. He was a loyal and valued employee of the Acworth Home Depot, where he developed his interest in horticulture. Henry performed his work admirably focused on customer service and was very proud to be a member of The Home Depot family.
Henry was an avid video game enthusiast that enjoyed building crypto mining rigs. He was a member of many internet forums related to competitive gaming and cryptocurrency. He also enjoyed sports and loved to analyze the statistics of his favorite teams. Finally, Henry loved his country and those who served to guard and protect it, taking every opportunity to thank and shake the hand of those who served.
Henry was a thoughtful, gentle, and kind man who loved his immediate and extended family, along with his community of friends and neighbors. He is survived in life by his devoted mother, Rebecca; his father, Thomas; his sister Anna Margaret Freese and her family, husband Scott and children, James, Isla Wren, and Garrick. He also leaves behind his grandmother, Tina Paul, of Charleston, SC, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom he loved.
